I am writing to show my gratitude for your support throughout my English Language examination preparations. With your legendary comprehension papers, my confidence in English grew, allowing me to secure an A1 for my O Levels.

I was recommended to join your class by a friend of mine, and I am infinitely thankful for her generosity. Initially, I was sure that English would be a hit-or-miss subject, especially with the mysterious Cambridge marking scheme. However, lesson by lesson, I was able to figure out techniques and exam strategies that would help me greatly. Your lessons basically cut the English Language subject into bite-sized pieces for me to slowly digest and understand, even if I wasn’t present for the full 4-year journey.

Occasionally, you would set papers with the difficulty bar set to one hundred. These were incredibly detailed with interesting excerpts and questions, which made mundane topics so much more engaging and relatable.

As a teacher, you are stellar at establishing a connection with your students. You deploy personalised teaching techniques and truly understand the way each student learns. You evolve with the times and infuse relevant topics into English lessons — and occasionally CCE lessons — which makes the subject really come to life.

Thank you for your dedication and support throughout my examinations. You have taught me things that I will never forget. I am incredibly fortunate to proudly call you my teacher.

Dear Mr Lee

I am writing this to express my gratitude for teaching me for the past (almost) 3 years and making your lessons not only meaningful but enjoyable.

Before I joined Mr Lee’s classes, I struggled with English, always scoring D’s and C’s no matter how much I studied. I tried the usual advice of teachers by reading more English books and writing more essays but none of it was working. However,with Mr Lee’s guidance and support, I managed to turn those grades into A’s. I never thought I’d be able to achieve this as I had never gotten an A for English in my life but his teaching style truly made all the difference.

What sets Mr Lee apart is his unique method of teaching.He infuses his lessons with CCE that keeps his lessons interesting and entertaining for students. His teaching style makes him one of the few teachers in my life that make me look forward to his next lesson.

His “magic” as I like to call it, is not instant as it requires effort and discipline. If you’re willing to put in the work, his teaching will transform your understanding of the subject to newer heights. For anyone serious about improving and willing to work hard, I could not recommend Mr Lee enough. He doesn’t just teach but he inspires his students to push beyond their limits.
